My name is Robert Poloboc, I am 20 years old and I currently live in Graz, Austria. My hobbies are football and of course electronics. I have been studying at Higher Technical School in Graz since 2013, profile electrical engineering. Ever since my passion for electronics has grown, and a couple of years ago I got myself a microcontroller starter kit, which introduced me to the world of electronics and microcontroller projects. After gathering more experience in the field, I started making my own projects, based on the Arduino µC. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in the field of electronics.
Hello, my name is Wimmer Daniel. I am 16 years old and I am from a small village in Austria. In my free Time, I like to play Volleyball and go skiing. I have been interested in electronics since I was a child. I have always wanted to create new stuff. So I decided to take part in a high school in Salzburg in Austria. I also learned the basics of electrical engineering there. Now I am planning to create my “Masterpiece” to become officially an electrical engineer.
Cristina (Xris) Luna (FPGA Projects Coordinator – Active)
HW/SW Researcher at AISTECH Space | Astronomer at @soyastronom | Cristina Is finishing her studies in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics and Computer Science at the National University of Distance Education (Vigo, Spain). She is very interested in analog and digital electronics, robotics, and mostly in reprogrammable electronics like FPGA, She started making her own projects building some effects pedals and amps for her guitar. Now she’s designing an open source hardware and software for smallsats. #goopen Space
Hannah Prattis (Hardware Developer and Designer – Active)
Is a 21-year-old Electronics and Information and Telecommunications Technology Apprentice. Has always been interested in how things are built since she can remember was thinking: “If someone else can do it, why shouldn’t I be able to.” Loves all things DIY, Analog and LED., of course, Digitalisation is taking over but we need to remember, no matter how good or smart the software gets, there needs to be a Module to upload said software.
Hannah has a passion for Hardware Development, Testing, Design, and Soldering. All fields that are currently starting to disappear, which in Hannahs opinion is not a good thing at all. We need good quality electronics and not Rasberry Pi’s in finished consumer goods. She is here for you to help understand and learn that one step after the other gets great results and hopefully motivate many many more girls that they are in fact up to the task. She wishes that when girls want to learn electronics that people one day will not ask them: “Are you sure? Don’t you think it will be too hard?” Because no. It isn’t. Why would you even think this?
