Hello Everyone in this tutorial i will show you how to Upload a Large Backup XML file of Blogger to WordPress in easy steps. First of all, i want to share my experience with you people. Recently i have migrated this website from blogger to WordPress. Migration from blogger to WordPress is not an easy task, it requires high-quality skills. Do not move your blogger directly to WordPress without proper analysis and research. Before migration, I just get a backup file from my blogger which is known as an XML file. You can get your own XML file from your blogger, open your blogger setting and click on “other tab” and backup your content.
Size of my blogger XML file was 3.5MB it is not too much big, i saved that XML file on my desktop folder safely. I bought hosting from GoDaddy for one year and install WordPresss application on it everything was perfect. In WordPress Admin window i just opened a tools menu and click on Import tab. An important and basic step is to activate the plugin in WordPress is known as Blogger importer. When I clicked on Importer tab and a new window appeared that kindly upload your XML file up to 2MB. I Just Shocked and start searching immediately on Google to know how to upload large XML file to WordPress. My XML file size was big, i did my best and searched for the whole night but I didn’t find any solution.
Installed WR-XML splitter tool but it can split only a backup XML file of WordPress. Delete comments and few post from my blogger to reduce the size of XML but it doesn’t help. I found a solution by my self and successfully changed maximum upload size limit from 2MB to 4Mb.
