Samsung galaxy s8| Full Details | Features | Photos | Design and Display

Samsung has instigated two striking flagships “Samsung Galaxy S8” and its alternative “Samsung Galaxy S8+”. Both of the Smartphones are attracting the attention of users across the globe. The focus of this article is primarily on the Galaxy S8. From the look of its high-end specs, it’s definitely a worthy Smartphone for purchasing in 2017. Additionally, it looks stunning, but can we be sure if it truly is what we expect??

We are going to enlist some core reasons which make this flagship worth spending money on. Its main drawbacks will also be highlighted.

1) Samsung galaxy s8 Design and Display:

First impression and you’re going to feel that it’s the best looking Phone you have laid hands on. S8 boasts an all metal and glass design with a 5.8 inched curved display and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Meeting the new trend of “bezel-less”, Samsung features an almost infinity display with elegantly curved edges. It is incredibly thin and lightweight (155 g) and is as premium as they get. Besides the fact that it’s super comfortable to hold its the perfect Smartphone for Show-off. S8 is shipped in three color options Grey with a blueish tint, bright silver, and dark black.

Galaxy S8 features a large 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, that all lead to the best experience of mobile entertainment you have ever had. The display packs 2960 x 1440 pixels of resolution, rounding up to 570 pixels per inch and the colors are crisp and punchy with the screen attributing enhanced brightness. This is also the first Smartphone to be HDR rated.

2) Samsung galaxy s8 Home Button:

The display covers the entire front side of the phone, leaving no room for the fingerprint sensor and the home button. So Samsung relocated the fingerprint sensor at the back but where could the Home button be??

The home button is hidden away in the form of a special sensor under the screen so when you press on it, it gives a vibrating response. It’s perfectly situated yet obscured from the display.

3) Samsung galaxy s8 Storage:

Apple is selling their Smartphones with 32 GB as the base storage and charging $100 for upgrading. However, Samsung took a step further so that we get 64 GB as the ground storage and expand it via microSD card.

4) Bixby:

Samsung has featured its own Mobile assistance in the form of “Bixby” its intelligent search system. So far, it manages three areas ‘home’, ‘voice’ and ‘vision’, but we can’t expect too much because it’s still sprouting. You can direct a voice command to it for calling someone or for searching through text. Then there is the ‘Bixby Vision’ which uses the camera and provides information about the object situated in its view.

5) Samsung galaxy s8 Camera:

Samsung has also made some camera improvements leading both its flagships to exceptional photography. The 12 Megapixels rear camera comes with a wide-angle aperture of f/1.7, which also packs an LED flashoptical image stabilization, and autofocus. The camera contains multi-frame processing, which means it takes 3 successive shots for enhancing the details and sharpness of the photos and combines them to get the most accurate colors. Because the cam takes in more light is also able to shoot some decent photos even in low light.

The front 8 Megapixels selfie camera also contains an impressive f/1.7 aperture lens. The big highlight is that Samsung incorporated a Smart-autofocus in the front cam, we rarely find front cameras with autofocus. The resulting images are stunning especially in daylight when it captures maximum details.

6) Samsung galaxy s8 Size Alternative:

If you want a larger screen experience, that’s also available with the Samsung Galaxy S8+

S8 plus trademarks a 6.2-inch display with the same features as included in S8. You also get a larger battery of 3500 mAh whereas Galaxy S8 is powered by a 3000 mAh battery.

Barring the sophisticated outlook of Samsung we are not going to bottle up its shortcomings:

So obviously with the display taking over the entire front screen the fingerprint sensor had to be re-positioned. Consequently, the fingerprint scanner was moved to the back of the phone, located right ‘next to’ the camera. It’s slightly annoying having to blindly find the scanner at the back, topping it up there’s always a high possibility of constantly smudging the camera. We don’t want smudgy cameras. Also, Dual-Camera setup is the new trend and almost every Smartphone manufacturer is providing one, no doubt that S8’s camera is splendid but we hope it had a dual-cam.

As you can see there are a number of attractive reasons why you should get Samsung Galaxy S8, right away!!! But we have also provided you the main drawbacks so you can decide in the knowledge of the highs and lows.
