Most of the time its hard deciding what you should purchase and even more difficult when your low on cash. You want a new Smartphone that’s best in specs especially with a good camera and within a modest price for you. So I am going to round up 5 best Smartphones which you can asset under pkr ‘15,000’.

1) Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus:

Price: Rs 13,799

Lenovo’s Vibe K5 Plus is a stunner for a cost effective smartphone, it has a plastic built with metallic edges and rounded corners. Featuring a 5 inch full HD display with dimensions (142 x 71 x 7.9 mm) makes it easy to handle in one hand. Speaking of its 5 inch 1080 x 1920 pixels IPS display, it will not disappoint you. Vibrant colors are showcased along with decent viewing angles, the text itself is pretty sharp. Powered by a Snapdragon 616 chipset clocked at 1. 5 GHz, its performance is much better than other Smartphones in this price range.

vibe K5 plus comes with a 13 Megapixels main camera acompanied with a LED flash and a wide f/2.2 aperture lens. Close up shots especially in bright daylight and mid-afternoon come out excellent with accurate color reproduction. You might face a slight issue when focusing to take a far off shot, besides that everything is in top shape. A 5 Megapixels front camera also takes decent photography in well lit conditions and provides a beauty mode for its users and a number of filters.

2) XiaomiRedmi 4A:

Price: Rs 13,480

XiaomiRedmi 4A is considered as one of the best entry level Smartphones. Instead of metal, Xiaomi furnished Redmi 4A with a polycarbonate body and it actually looks really good and even more its comfortable to hold. Its got rounded edges and corners with a screen size of 5.0 inches, a smooth touch screen with a clean finish to the back. Redmi 4A looks beautiful. An interesting feature is Redmi 4A’s large 3120 mAh battery, with maximum usage the battery juice can be extended to about a day and a half till next recharge.

A 13 Megapixels rear camera is situated on the top left corner of the phone along with a LED flash. The front camera is of 5 Megapixels and both have an aperture of f/2.2 lens. Photos taken by the main camera come out looking gorgeous in daytime, for night time it supports low-light enhancement for extracting details. You also get the HDR mode and the shots taken by the flash come out decent looking (the flash isn’t as overpowering as most smartphones, so that’s great). Modes such as panorama, face recognition and burst mode are all boxed in the device for the best camera experience. The selfie cam packs face recognition, smart mode and the beautify mode and thankfully video chatting is available as well. For a small price, this device has lots of good stuff going on.

3) Honor 5A

Price: Rs 11,500

This smartphone in my opinion is the best budget camera smartphone you can get for just Rs 11,500. Honor 5A is powered by the Octa-Core Qualcomm snapdragon 617 chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz. It houses a large 3100 mAh battery which is another bonus as compared to its predecessors. There is 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of ROM acompanied by microSD memory extension upto 128 GB. Honor 5A boosts a premium look even in its plastic built it looks attractive.

The camera shows some major improvements, there is a 13 Megapixels rear camera and an 8 Megapixels front camera. 13 MP cam is equipped with auto focus and dual flash and you can snap wider angle photos using its 28 mm wide lens with an aperture of f/2.0. Photos taken show accurate details and the macro photography experience is pretty good for its price. The selfie cam shoots some perfect shots in good day light with precise color reproduction with a nice bokeh appearance. Its not as good as the high end smartphones but for the price being it works out exemplary.

Resolution: 720 x 1280 pixels

Weight: 168.0 grams
Operating system: Android 6.0
Processor: 1.2 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617

4) Coolpad Note 3 Plus

Price: Rs 14,000 and lowest 8,999

Coolpad Note 3 Plus reveals a 5.5 inch full HD edge to edge screen, like all other Smartphones in this budget it is also plastic built but with metallic edges. Looks and feels great to hold. the screen supports 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution which is also IPS rated and enhances the display quality. Thankfully it boosts a fingerprint scanner for the age which we dont normally find in this price range (Smartphones we ‘Want’ a fingerprint scanner). Note 3 Plus comes powered with the Mediatek 6753 chipset, Octa-Core and clocked at 1.3 GHz. There’s a large 3000 mAh battery on board along with 3 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of built in storage. You can also expand the storage upto 64 GB via microSD card.

Coming to the camera you get a 13 Megapixels rear camera with variable focus and single-tone LED flash. Shots taken are sharp with vibrant color reproduction, they might be exposed to noise and lose in detail in low lit conditions but in adequate lightning the photo quality is superb. The 5 Megapixels front camera misses out on autofocus, with experience you wont face any issue bringing out the best in shots. Overall for its price the camera quality is outstanding.

5) Huawei Y6 Pro

Price: Rs 14,399

Y6 pro has rounded corners and a plastic body with a thickness of 9.6 mm and weighing 160 grams (easily handled). One of its best features is its long battery life. Its high battery capacity ‘4000 mAh’ will easily last you about 2 days with moderate usage. Its got 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage you can also expand the storage upto 128 GB.

Huawei has a reputation for manufacturing high quality cameras from which its users have always been satisfied, but what comes with its budget smartphone Y6 Pro is a big  improvement over its predecessor. Unlike minor 2 MP cams in this lineup Y6 pro houses a 13 Megapixels rear camera and a 5 Megapixels front camera. The 13 MP cam has a f/2.0 aperture lens including autofocus and an LED flash. You can adjust the white balance, saturation, contrast, ISO and sharpness there’s also a qualified HDR mode. Pictures come out looking accurately colored with good contrast, even in low light you get acceptable quality photos. The 5 Mpselfie cam has a wide angle lens of 84 degrees, it also has the best features like panorama and HDR. Considering the price, I find no drawbacks in the camera.
