Witnessing The Frightening Technologies. How Scared Should We Really Be?

Mankind has always been afraid of upcoming future technologies. It all started back when certain technologies were introduced like cars, trains, and electricity. People were afraid that they would die of using such technologies. Some even thought of it as black magic or voodoo. But after some time, they became adaptive to these technologies.

To some extent, they were right. Apart from all the charms, these technologies also come with some drawbacks. But the drawbacks are much less than the advantages provided by the machines. Therefore, often they are neglected.

Coming to the year 2020, we became so much adaptive to these technologies that we can not imagine our lives without these. Instead of wasting the time to visit a store, we prefer shopping online. And in doing so, we also achieve many discounts using dell home office coupons.

Neglecting the disadvantages of these technologies, we became obsessive. However, the article elaborates some frightening technologies that we cannot hide from and ultimately they will be determining our future.

Nanites

These are very small sized robots that will ultimately surround us one day. They are very small and are not visible under the naked eye. Usually, they exist in swarms. It is known for a fact that they will exist in each and everything ranging from air and water to the food we will be eating. They would be intelligent enough to adapt to all the situations and would replicate them.

In a good way, they will be used in cleaning all the surroundings, curing the diseases, and even controlling the hard weather. However, the main question arises that why we should be afraid of these small Nano-sized robots. A rhetorical question is often asked that would someone be daring enough all his life process to some robots. Definitely not.

Hacking is the main reason for which everyone is scared of these nanorobots. The one controlling the nanorobots would be controlling everything. We could watch the world collapse simply if someone programs to implement one code in every nanorobot to destroy itself. So yes we should be scared of this technology.

Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) and Immersive Reality (IR).

We are quite familiar with virtual and augmented reality. We are using these concepts in multiple technologies for quite some time now. Gamers are playing virtual reality games and enjoying a seamless experience. Augmented reality is being used in almost every field like in the medical training of young doctors. Therefore, we are currently dipped into both these technologies.

But the game has moved to the next level. BCI and IR are the latest technologies. A limited strength of people is familiar with these technologies. Brain-computer interface and Immersive reality simply inject a reality in your brain for the best experience. These technologies tend to manipulate your brain enabling the brain waves to form the other experiences.

Using these technologies, we can simply immerse ourselves in the reality of our choice. By manipulating the brain, we are absolutely altering our personality by minimizing our fears and maximizing our strengths. Imagine reading 1500 pages of a book in one second or controlling nanites to get anything you want. Seems super cool right? But this is where the things get out of hands.

We may lose the personal touch to our reality that we are currently living in. We will be spending more time on the IR. Secondly, we may long for the basic human experience. BCI can turn us into a robot. So we should be scared a little and be prepared for these technologies.
