Repairing of the broken power port of the JADOO Box | TV app

Hello Electronic Lovers, in this tutorial I will show you how to repair a broken Power port of the JADOO box. You can Replace a Power Port or by connecting charger wires directly to the main circuit. We need 5v DC output from the charger or power supply to run JADOO box. I will recommend to change a Port instead of connecting wires directly.

Step 1 : The box back cover doesn’t not has screw, just use any sharp thing, knife, in the edge of the box and pull the sharp thing , knife, a cover will be popped up and take out The circuit Board carefully.
Step 2 : Cut the power cable and peel the wire and 2 wire should be appear black and red as shown in picture

Step 3: Black wire will be connected to the first point on the right side and Red wire will be the first point on left side of the board. If in case doesn’t work the change the step to the opposite. If board lights on its mean wire should be solder with the board.
Step 4 : For the safety of wire melt the glue stick on wire with board to safe from moving

Yeah it,s Working

Hello, my Jadoo 3 is different and the power port is broken. Am I supposed to remove the small black port and it has a total of 3 points instead of five.

Do you have a step by step tutorial with the one I have?

Just check the Adapter output voltage using Digital Multi meter the output voltage should be around 5 volt Dc

Electronics Lovers August 10, 2015 - 9:44 am

Cut the Adapter wire and you will found two wires one is for ground and other one for Positive so connect it directly to the points ….No need to solder female usb mirco port

Here are the images of the adapter and how it connects to the power port on the circuit: https://m.imgur.com/UaRVo9N,oxyCCvj,92pi4aY

Am I suppose to remove the black power port on the circuit board? If I remove it there will be 3 points left. And I am afraid that the adapter might have more than 2 wires.
